Who wants to be a (debt) millionaire?
I love banks. Don't you? They only have our best interests at heart. Capital One (whose ads, I have to say, have slowly improved over about two years. Who's their agency? I think there's been some good account management going on there).
Anyway, look at this email I just recieved.
Guaranteed 1 minute application response? I'm interested I don't even want a Credit Card. Certainly not from these sharks - 34.9% APR? Holy mother of God. I imagine Tony Soprano would feel that was a bit OTT. However, in the blue bit at the top (Charlie, do you want to let us know the technical term?) it says, quite clearly “Capital One - for applicants who want to strengthen their credit rating”
To the point, responsive, subtle as a brick. It'll work like a charm, but it is just wrong, isn't it?
